The European Society of Women in Theological Research (ESWTR) is a network of women involved in academic research in the areas of theology and religious studies. The Society hosts a European conference every two years to discuss relevant themes in feminist theology. Between conferences scholars meet at national or regional levels and continue to work together in subject groups. In the General Assemblies 2015 in Crete and 2017 in Vienna the ESWTR decided to stress the interreligious focus at all levels of its engagement. The ESWTR is the editing body of the annual Journal of the European Society of Women in Theological Research and of the ESWTR Studies in Religion.
We mourn the loss of our colleague Dr Larissza Hrotkó
On the morning of 16 September 2024, Dr Larissza Hrotkó, our dear friend and colleague, linguist, historian and doctor of Jewish religious studies, passed away at the age of 79. Obituary for Dr Rita Perintfalvi.
