Zeitschrift für Pädagogik und Theologie invites Early Career Researchers to contribute to issue 4/2027, dedicated to “Future Perspectives of Religious Education in the Light of Research by Early Career Researchers.”
The special issue focuses on how current social transformations — including growing diversity and heterogeneity, digitalization, diversification, polarization, and intensified perceptions of crisis — are reshaping both the theory and practice of religious education. It aims to highlight innovative research by doctoral and postdoctoral scholars and to explore how new approaches are contributing to the future development of religious pedagogy and religious education.
Contributions are welcome from all areas of religious education and religious didactics, as well as Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, and Islamic theology and related disciplines such as educational studies, practical theology, and educational research.
