The Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Vienna and the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Graz invite submissions for the interdisciplinary workshop “What matters? Interdisciplinary Workshop on Ethical Challenges and Possibilities in the Light of New Materialisms.”

The workshop will take place on December 3–4, 2026, at the University of Vienna and will focus on ethical challenges and perspectives in the context of New Materialisms.

The event will address three thematic areas:

• Ideals of Life
• Bodies—Minds—Machines
• Ecology, Environment, and Gender Studies

Abstracts for short papers of approximately 250 words may be submitted until March 30, 2026.
